Philosophy:
I strongly encourage everyone to try learning an instrument. Even if someone doesn’t think it will be for them, it is always worth looking into any of your untapped potential. In my own experience, it is the people who are most excited about the piano that get the furthest. That being said, I always aim for lessons to be exciting. I want my students to walk away with their brains stimulated, ready and anxious to practice each day. For that to happen, I will regularly set goals with the students, track progress, and encourage them to work towards their objectives. Regardless of what someone’s background or personality is, every kind of person can be a great musician. I focus on technique, performance, and improvisation. It is very important to me that everyone enjoys their lessons, and I am delighted to be able to help students reach their full musical potentials.
