Michael McCutchon began his classical guitar studies with Prof. Wynn Morrant from Seattle Pacific University. During this time he gave public performances, and attended master classes with such artists as David Russell and William Kanengiser. He was an active member of the Seattle Classical Guitar Society.
He graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Music Education and a concentration in classical guitar. While at UNT he studied with Dr. Paul LeBlanc, gave public performances, and attended master classes with Eliot Fisk and Scott Tennant.
Michael has over ten years experience teaching children as young as five years old, as well as adults. He has successfully incorporated many of the teaching concepts he learned from his teachers and master classes into his lessons.
He enjoys spending time with his family, and helps his wife homeschool their son.
